Sexual revolution, as Marcuse noted, always precedes political revolution, because sexuality is the fastest, surest way to derange people. As the basic instinct of life itself, its power is formidable, and its deracination underwrites social collapse. Disrupt it, and it has a catastrophic waterfall effect on almost everything else downstream.
